Bruni Karr Agency, Inc. is a corporation operating in Bernalillo County, New Mexico, specializing in full-service, single-family residential property management. The company has been operating since 1979.

The Bruni Karr Rental and Management Agency, a leader in the Albuquerque single-family residential property management field, which manages approximately 500 single-family residential properties, was awarded the Certified Residential Management Company® (CRMC) designation at the National Association of Residential Property Managers® (NARPM) National Convention in Orlando, Florida, on October 21, 2009. The Bruni Karr Agency, CRMC® is the first brokerage in New Mexico and the 34th property management company in the nation to receive this prestigious designation.

NARPM awards the esteemed designation to those professional property management firms that demonstrate the highest standards in procedures, business operations, and ethics and customer service. Receiving the award requires a detailed 2-day onsite office inspection of the company and recommendations from clients and peers.

BKA Principals

The president/qualifying broker of BKA is Chesley Karr, MPM®. He has been providing service to the real estate industry in Albuquerque as a licensed agent since 1988. He joined the R.L. Bruni Agency in 1989 as a property manager. In 2000, he purchased the Agency and is the President and Qualifying Broker. He provides the guidance and direction of BKA, including 6 staff members and an inventory of approximately 500 single family residential properties. He personally oversees all contracts, policies, and procedures, and works to educate BKA personnel to provide quality service to their clients and customers.

Chesley Karr, MPM®, qualifying broker for the Bruni Karr Agency, CRMC®, was awarded the prestigious MPM® (Master Property Manager) designation from the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM®) on September 24, 2008. This rare designation is held by fewer than 150 property managers nationwide and is reflective of the professional commitment made to the industry by Chesley Karr, MPM ® . Currently, Chesley Karr, MPM® is the only person in New Mexico who has earned this designation. He was the Charter President for the formation of the Albuquerque/Metro Chapter of NARPM in 1997 and has served several terms as President as well as various other officer positions including Chair of the Education Committee.
